The ISMIR 2024 Conference will take place in hybrid format from November 10–14, in San Francisco, CA and online. We are also organizing a Virtual Pre-Conference, open to all conference attendees, on October 28-29. Virtual programming of the Pre-Conference and Main Conference will take place on a 24-hour schedule to facilitate global participation.
We are recruiting online volunteers to (1) assist with reviewing presentation materials in the leadup to the conference and (2) provide technical support during the Virtual Pre-Conference and the virtual portion of the Main Conference.

Note: In-person volunteer slots have been filled, and we are not recruiting in-person volunteers at this time.
We will select volunteers based on interest, experience, and date/time-zone availability. The expected total time commitment for each volunteer is around 8-12 hours.
This is a great opportunity to contribute to the ISMIR community and interact with this year’s conference organizers and attendees! As a token of our appreciation, online volunteers will receive a complimentary virtual registration to the conference and will also be recognized on the ISMIR 2024 website.
